As a Human Resources member, your primary responsibility is supervising the Supervision and Management Team. This includes tasks like issuing strikes, demotions, terminations, and managing promotions to balance the ranks.
Supervision of the Team
Keep an eye on #punishment-requests. This is where Operations members will request punishments from HRD. One person should regularly check this channel, copy the punishments to #punishment-logs, and send the user the appropriate message.
Managing Promotions
Collect session attendance, in-game minutes, cooldowns, and other proof of activity. Once you’ve gathered all the necessary details, get approval from a Senior Corporate+ member to promote a Shift Leader+.
Once approved and posted in #promotion-approval, log it in #promotion-logs and make an announcement in-game or in #supervision-chat to inform everyone of the promotion.
Inactivity Notices and Excuses
You have the authority to accept or deny inactivity notices and excuses. These notices must follow the required format and can last up to two weeks.
If you accept an inactivity notice, be sure to log it in Trello under the “Management Notices” section. Once the notice period is over or someone ends it early, move it to “Completed Management Notices.”
If you’re a Corporate Intern, you can ask a Junior Corporate+ member to handle this for you.
Ticket Handling and Rank Requests
Only corporates in the Operations Department can handle tickets and check #ranker-requests. You should only interact with a ticket if you are pinged by someone in Operations.
These are your responsibilities as a Human Resources member supervising the Supervision and Management Team. Ensure that you stay organized and vigilant in your duties to maintain smooth operations.
Promotional batches are hosted every Sunday by a Senior Corporate+ to determine who gets promoted that week.
Time-Vote for Promotional Batches
A CHRO will post a time-vote every Friday to determine when the promotional batch will take place. This vote is open to all department members, and the majority vote will decide the time.
Discussion and Agreement
At the scheduled time, the discussion for the promotional batch will take place in the #promotion-batches channel in the HRD Discord server. During this discussion, everyone attending should agree on who will be promoted. It's essential to consider cooldowns when making decisions about each promotion.
Inability to Attend
If someone is unable to attend the event, they can add the usernames of people they think should be promoted to the provided Google Sheet, which is posted along with the time-vote. These individuals will be marked as 'assisted' and will still receive credit for their participation in the batch.
Promotional batches are a crucial part of the promotion process, and it’s important that all members involved stay engaged and consider each person's performance carefully. Ensure that everyone participates and votes fairly to maintain a smooth promotional process.
Every Sunday, the department will participate in reforms for the Management Team, which includes Junior, Senior, and Head Directors.
Senior Corporate+ Leadership
A Senior Corporate+ will be chosen each week to lead the activity checks. They will assign directors to everyone in the department (except for those on an inactivity notice) and ensure the activity checks run smoothly.
Gathering Activity Data
All department members can participate by gathering the minutes and sessions for the people they were assigned to check on Hyra.
Checking for Inactivity Notices
Directors should be checked for inactivity notices each week. This can be done by reviewing the ‘Management Notices’ or ‘Completed Management Notices’ sections on Trello. If you are a Corporate Intern, you can use the search bar with the query ‘from: washiez123 in: inactivity notices’ to find relevant notices.
Director Requirements
The requirements for all Junior, Senior, and Head Directors consist of 2 training sessions and 120 minutes of activity per week.
Inactivity Reminders and Warnings
If a director completes half of their requirements, an inactivity reminder should be issued. If they continue to fall short the next week, an inactivity warning should be given.
If a director fails to meet any requirements and this is their first offense, they should receive an inactivity warning.
If a director continues to fail to meet their requirements for two weeks in a row, they may be demoted to their previous rank.
Activity checks help ensure that all directors meet their required activity levels and maintain consistent involvement in the department. It's important to monitor performance and issue reminders or warnings as needed to keep everyone accountable.
Mass Staff Trainings are monthly events hosted by a Head Corporate+.
Planning the Event
Planning for the event will take place 1-2 weeks in advance. This allows for proper organization and coordination to ensure the training runs smoothly.
Event Accessibility
As the name suggests, the event is open to all members of the Supervision Team and Management Team.
Content of the Event
The training reviews important information with the addition of minigames to make the learning process engaging and fun.
Collaboration with Other Departments
Mass Staff Trainings can also collaborate with other departments to enrich the content and provide a wider range of perspectives and skills.
Mass Staff Trainings are a great opportunity to review important information, engage with minigames, and collaborate across departments to enhance skills and team-building.
Promotion Recommendations
If you notice a member of the Supervision Team (ST) working exceptionally well, you can make a promotion recommendation in #promotion-approval if you are a Junior Corporate or Corporate Intern. Please remember to follow the correct format.
Approval Process
After your Senior Corporate has reviewed and ranked the recommendation, they will react with a ✅ check. Once they do so, you can edit the "Approval Status" to Approved.
Example:
Logging the Promotion
After approval, you will log the promotion in our main Washiez server.
Management Promotions
A Senior Corporate+ will make a promotion recommendation in #mgmt-recommendations on our HRD server. Ranks below Senior Corporate can ask a SC to post the recommendation on their behalf.
Voting Process
Department members will have the option to react with a ✅ check (approve) or ❌ cross (decline) on the promotion poll.
If more than half of the department and one Chief approve of the promotion, the individual can then be promoted.
Finalizing the Promotion
The person who originally made the recommendation can then log the promotion in #promotion-logs.
Each week, you will be scored out of 10 and this will be given to you in our personal journals on our HRD server. Your score will determine how much you are paid.
Activity Requirements
To be active, you must have good activity in the following criteria:
